Team Erin

Most of our week has been catching up on rest and adjusting back to life after being in Honduras. Things picked back up on the weekend, and as usual, we were blessed to be part of some amazing things.

Friday Night Dinner-Friday after work, Shelby and Cam, Katie, Dani and Brittany, and I all went out for dinner at Chatam Tap on Mass Ave. Jordan joined up with us after work. It was great to get to know Brittany better and laugh with awesome people...plus we could be a lot louder than we are at work. Good times all around!

Team Erin- This was the second year of participating in Team Erin at the Geist half-marathon/10K/5K. Jordan did the 5K with me, and it was his first road race (what?!). The morning started out really rainy, literally pouring the entire 45 minutes to the race. As soon as we got out of the car, the weather cleared and the entire race ended up having great weather. This year there was a balloon release and moment of silence before the race. It was amazing to see how many people love and care for Erin and her family. I'm so honored to work with Katie and know her sweet family.

Whoops-On the way to dinner on Saturday night, I put my phone in the console of my car...that was filled with water. Whoooomp whoooomppp. I threw a fit like a toddler, cussed a lot, and yelled at Jordan for laughing. It was super embarrassing, and still makes me mad...but whatevs. Spoiler alert-the rice thing didn't work, it's done-zo.

Dinner and Phase 10- Sunday night, we grilled out with Aaron and Erica at their place. I'm so grateful to have awesome in-laws that we can hang out with. After dinner, we played a full game of Phase 10...love that game.

Tuesday Night Dinner-Since Abby works weekends, it's tough to get together. Luckily, we were all free on Tuesday(and the men crashed the party) and grabbed dinner at Margaritas. Baby Ellie is starting to get her own personality, and it's hilarious. And, she's getting so big! This time next year, there will be 2 babies at dinner-yay for Erica's baby!!
